By using Local ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Local provides personalised place recommendations in London based on your location and preferences. Recommendations are generated using place data and AI, and are provided for informational purposes only.
On supported devices, Local uses Apple Intelligence — Apple's on-device language model framework — to generate personalised recommendation copy and contextual summaries. This processing happens entirely on your device; no personal data, preferences, or location information is transmitted to Apple or any third party for this purpose. On-device AI features require a compatible Apple device with Apple Intelligence enabled. The app functions fully without these features on unsupported devices.
Local is currently in beta. Features may change, and the service may experience interruptions. We provide the app "as is" during this period and appreciate your feedback.
You may use the app anonymously or sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not create accounts for others without their consent.

The Local app, its design, and original content are owned by Local. Place data is sourced from OpenStreetMap under the Open Database License (ODbL). You retain ownership of any content you create within the app (e.g. saved lists).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Recommendations are informational — always verify details (opening hours, accessibility, etc.) independently.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
